Allan began his musical career as a teenager in England, during the 60's, playing at the same venues in Liverpool as The Beatles, Gerry and the Pacemakers and The Searchers. He migrated to Australia in 1964 and soon formed a band called The Road Runners, playing with a typical Mersey Sound. They soon became a very popular band in South Australia and supported many visiting national and international artists, such as John Farnham, Marcia Hines and Freddy and the Dreamers. Swapping the old Mersey Sound for a country twang in the mid 90's proved to be a wise career move for Allan and in recent years he has become a successful solo country music artist, providing him with the opportunity to travel both interstate and overseas. He regulary features at Festivals and events in many states, and especially Tasmania which he tours twice yearly. He also features in festivals in New Zealand. Allan is a very professional performer with a dynamic voice and energetic stage presence who loves to entertain, which is reflected in his performances. To date he has three albums, "The Joker's Wild", "Guitar Man" and his latest, "Part Time Dreamer"
